Pagani has just released a second teaser video that previews its new supercar; currently known by the internal codename C9, the latest rumour doing the rounds is that Pagani has registered the name Huayra for its Zonda successor. Pagani will unveil the new C9/Huayra at the Geneva motor show in March 2011 – it’s powered by a twin-turbo, AMG-developed V12 engine. Mercedes-Benz has slyly revealed a lightly facelifted version of the 33-year-old G-class prior to its planned public premiere at the Beijing motor show next month. The reworked version of the German carmaker's iconic military-grade SUV, planned to go on sale in European markets in June with North American deliveries slated to begin by the end of this year, can be seen in the background of an official photograph of the facelifted GLK posted on the Mercedes-Benz media Web site. Among the subtle changes made to the G-class's classic square exterior is a restyled grille with three prominent slats in place of the older model's seven slats, new headlamp inserts with horizontally mounted LED running lights and redesigned mirror housings.
NISSAN’S premium car division, Infiniti, is pressing ahead with the development of a high performance version of its Q50 executive saloon. What’s significant about the news is that Formula 1 racer, and Infiniti’s Director of Performance, Sebastian Vettel has added his input to the programme. The four-time Formula 1 world champion recently tested the 560hp high performance sports saloon at the Millbrook Proving Ground testing facility.
